The body blank is made from 3/16" wide x 3/8" high, 5-6 pound density balsa cut to a length of 15". I used a balsa stripper as shown below and cut some peices from a larger sheet. The body when cut to size should weight between 1.40 and 1.70gr.

The tail boom is very easy to make. The boom is cut from 1/8" sheet and should be 1/4" wide tapered down to 1/8" wide. You can make the boom from a piece of 1/8" x 3/8" x 10" long balsa. First mark on the left side 1/8" down, and then on the right side 1/4" down. Then draw a line diagonally across the wood to join the points with a pen (see photo below).

Use a straightedge or a ruler and cut along the line to cut the wood in half.
