The rear hook is where the motor attaches to the rear of the body. It is made from a piece of .025 music wire. You will need a pair of round nose pliers to make the hook. Start with a piece of about 6" in length and use the pliers to bend a partial hoop in the wire as shown below.

Here is what it should look like after bending it.

Now bend a 90 degree bend in the wire as shown below.

To finish the rear hook, it needs to be cut to its final length. Hold the hook next to the body and let it stick about 1/8" past the bottom of the body and cut it at the to of the body. (shown below)

Next, cut a piece of 1/8" x 1/8" balsa 1/2" long. This is a spacer which provides clearance between the rubberband and the body while it is unwinding and is essential to getting maximum flight time.

Glue the spacer to the rear bottom side of the body as shown below. Then take the rear hook and start to press it into the body.

Until it is flush with the spacer you glued on.

Take the razor blade, and cut away the small portion of wood in front of the hook as shown. This will also help to keep the motor from bunching up during unwinding.

Now apply superglue along the wire where the rear hook touches the spacer.
